Dennis Thone started NCS in 1980 having worked for an American OEM for 3 previous years. He started his career assembling machines from the ground up. From scapping castings for near perfect alignments, installing ballscrews, limit switches, servo motors, wiring all components to the CNC and then startup of the total system for shipment to the customers location.

After a brief employment with Burgmaster as Senior Applications Engineer and Fanuc/Siemens joint venture, General Numeric Corp as a Sales/Applications Engineer, decided to go out on his own providing any and all services to the CNC community such as programming, maintenance repairs, or accessories like Touch Probes or 4/5th axis upgrades.

He started relationships with other maintenance and machine tool rebuilding companies that did not have the technical experience to attach a CNC to a manual machine or update existing CNC with new.Realizing a need to provide services for manufacturing industry.
